Dr. Hussain Ali Lecturer and Mr.
Tanzeem Alam Department of Sociology Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan jointly
presented a research paper and participated in research conference on December
19, 2017 organized by The Institute of Peace and Conflict Studies (IPCS),
University of Peshawar. The research paper “Construction of Scale: Analysis of
The Available Scales on Tolerance” covered the various scales developed and
tested for the purpose to measure Tolerance around the world. In presentation
the various dimension including religious, political, economic, communicational
and social tolerance were discussed in detail for developing a comprehensive
and most relevant scale for measuring the tolerance in the context of Pakistani
society. The presentation was very much appreciated by the panel chair at the
end of session.
