Overseas PhD Scholar, Mr. Muhammad Faizan Malik, Successfully Defended his PhD Thesis

Dr. Muhammad Faizan Malik, Assistant Professor at Institute of Business Studies and Leadership, AWKUM successfully defended his PHD viva at Faculty of Management, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia on April 3, 2018. He completed his PhD with major in finance and worked on Mergers and Acquisition under the supervision of Dr. Suresh, Senior Lecturer, UTM. His examiners for PhD viva were external experts in finance from top universities of Malaysia.

It is to mention here that Dr. Malik was awarded Overseas Scholarship by this university under Faculty Development Program of the university in the year 2014 and he completed his PhD in a short span of time. Besides this, the concerned faculty has also published more than seven (7) research papers and was actively involved in extra-curricular activities such as representing Pakistani student’s society at UTM, Malaysia.
